What a great device! Not sure if it will be able to tie the couch potato to it though. Rembember that old habit dies hard! Just some suggestions for the translation: "...can tell your slow-down .. change to " can tell that you are slowing down"

They look nice. I would prefer the edges to be a bit rounder. Accidental bumping into these sharp edges and corners will HURT. Ouch!!! With these fittings, you don't want to come home drunk or you will wake up with cuts and bruises in the morning.

I find the last paragraph particularly appealing. People always ask for the boss's support. Who is going to support the boss? If we are going to be function as a team then the relationship has to be a two-way traffic or it isn't going to work. Team work is all about give and take.

In the age of Internet plagiarism will also be on the rise. The Internet has made plagiarism of school assignments incredibly easy and more widespread. It will be tough for teachers to police it. I guess the point of education is you are learning it for yourself. If you are cheating, you aren't really doing yourself a favour in the long run as one of the objective of education is to seek wisdom! What I found it hard to take it a lot of student find it shameless to cheat!!!

I didn't know that the ghost of mammoths can still come back and haunt us! Mind you that, with the global warming, the sediment in the deep ocean which has locked a huge carbon reserve is going to surface and haunt us too. The question now is how fast? Will it be in our life time? So, I guess we have to make every day counts and start to do our bit for the environment.

Yes, this is for real! I have seen one frozen in a museum in Australia. From memory, it was in Tasmania. The whole thing was frozen in a hugh ice block. You can only look and enjoy. Sorry no sashime for you!

Except Déjà vu, I must admit that I haven't seen any other words. Other common ones that I have seen are: Rendezvous (May be French), yacht (Dutch), char (Chinese for tea), kowtow (Chinese) Ketchup (Cantonese). This make me wonder about how these top 10 got selected. Good translation, by the way. (Thumb up)

Yes, choice of name can get you, at times, into some awkward situation. If you have a daughter and you plan to live in Singapore then do not name her "Nola". Well ... as for China ummh ... do not call her "Aida"!!!!

You deserve a big hug to for translating and sharing a heart-felt story. By the way, you may like to consider using "promoter" instead of "propagandist". Propaganda is mostly used in the political arena. Alternative for "... boy just disregarded." may be ""... boy just ignored her." Just a thought.

Interesting thought. A lot of people spend two hours in the evening between 20:00 - 22:00 just to watch TV and become a couch potato after 10 years (or may be earlier!!). Thanks for reminding me to commit time in the evening to lock on the target of my goals.

Interesting article. Thought you may like to pay some of attention to your tenses in your translation. "I had a friend". Do you still have that friend? May be "have" is a more appropriate tense in this case. Just a thought.
