But this new city comes with a catch 但是这座新城市让人大吃一惊。还不到大吃一惊的语气，我的确大吃一惊了，呵呵。考虑：让人眼前一亮。catch 这个词我还拿捏不准，请各位译友赐教！
the ambitious plan has ever higher stakes 这一雄心勃勃的计划树立了更高的标准。先看看stakes（复数）的用法

从交通问题（……）到这种难以置信的社区从来没有如此大规模的复制。could ever be 能不能 拟译为：从交通问题（……）到能不能大规模复制这种大型社区的疑虑。
不会因哮喘发作而崩溃。不知道是不是现代人把崩溃这个词用滥了，感觉有点奇怪，我会译成：不会因为哮喘而垮掉（/倒下）。

一看标题还以为是是台湾东部又什么地震丫，洪水丫，其实Dongtan指崇明岛东南部的东滩，不是翻成东台。
