Status 1): "Client hasn’t transferred funds to Elanso; Project hasn’t begun"
It means: Client has launched the project, yet hasn’t pay to Elanso. Translator should contact the client to negotiate about project details (including typesetting, file format and etc.) and record the conversation history, and inform the client to pay to Elanso.
Status 2): "Client has transferred funds to Elanso; Project being processed"
It means: Client has paid to Elanso, and project has begin. Translator should inform the client to begin with the translation. Having completed with the translation, you should send files to the client and inform him of your sending. Having your translation modified to client’s satisfaction, you may request your client to click “Agree with the payment” to make the payment transferred to your ElanPay.
Status 3): “Client has agreed with the payment, project completed”
It means: Payment will be transferred to your ElanPay. Translator should try your best to gain a good evaluation from your client to gain more credits. If a bad evaluation occurs, it is hard for you to get more projects in the future; therefore, it is necessary having a thorough understanding of client’s requirement and strictly conforms to project requirement.
3. After the project closed
Please keep in touch with your clients. New-year-wishes or constant contact may help you gain more project offered by your clients or their friends.
