Does the headline of this post make you feel guilty? I feel guilty just writing it.
We live in a time when 1 out of 7 Americans have tried a weight loss supplement. That is a lot of people.
Exercising, however, is not popular.
Why not?
• I might get hurt.
• I don't want to sweat.
• I can't be bothered getting changed.
• It's hard.
• I don't have the time.
• I'm embarrassed and feel stupid.
• It's too cold.
• It's too hot.
• I'm too tired.
• Why should I bother?
• I never get anywhere.
• The moment I stop it's all for nothing.
Those are just some of the thoughts that have gone through my head when it comes to thinking about exercise.
Why don't you exercise? Be honest (no put-downs).
