Nearly one-year silence, Google Talk team has launched a new beta version of GT desktop clients, dubbed “Labs Edition”.
Google Talk is one of my favorite instant chatting tools. It is featured by adopting open XMPP agreement. While due to the XMPP agreement is still under the adaptation and some other reasons, GTalk actually has been ignored by Google for a long time. Today, Google Talk team finally released a new beta version of GT desktop clients”Labs Edition”! It is based on Webkit(which is the kernel of Safari browser ), combining the advantages of Google Talk Gadget, and integrating several Google’s online product services, including Gmail notification, Google calendar, Orkut and so on.
