We all are made aware of the Middle Eastern Fiber that connects the Eastern Europe is down but I got received a trigger this morning that there is a broken pipe on the OC3-STM1 backend connecting SEATTLE, WASHINGTON and the North West Coastal Areas serving AT&T Metro Areas.
Who are affected? Actually alot. ROOT SERVERS on the WESTERN END relies on the 66.240-254 IP SETS and that being said…means alot of service providers will be getting slower than normal connections as the services are being rerouted.
What is affected? BLOGGER platform on some FREE SERVERS are located there. So, is also the Microsoft Redmond WA Servers, so users of MSN are being warned.
Best thing is..have your own servers
