I've wasted a good portion of the day struggling to get this piece of crap to work: GBS301[^] The best I've got so far is by plugging it into another computers serial port (via the null modem adapter) and running hyperterminal on that computer and my laptop. With that I can type on my laptop and see it come up on the other computer, but for some strange reason, it only seems to work one way, which is completely useless. Now I can't even get by laptop to reconnect the serial port at all. It seems to need some random combination of power cycling the adapter and turning my laptop Bluetooth on and off some random number of times, and possibly letting it rest for a while! Are all Bluetooth devices this useless? Of course, it could also be my laptop that sucks...
