If you are either a seasoned or beginner photographer, then the Olympus E-420 DSLR is aimed squarely at you. If you have been using a compact camera and feel it is time to move up to an SLR, then Olympus say that the E-420 DLSR is the perfect choice.
As a beginner to SLR cameras the E-420 is a great choice, it comes with ten-megapixel and has a CMOS sensor. Olympus has squeezed in 28 different shooting modes, and a sequential shooting mode, this will take 3.5 frames per second. There are two memory car slots one for compact flash and the other for XD-Picture Cards. The E-420 DSLR has a 2.7-inch LCD display with a 176° viewing angle.
