American Idol season 7 Top 3 contestant, David Cook, went home to Kansas City where he threw out the first pitch at the Kansas City Royals home game and also sang “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch. I heard that he was asked to sing the national anthem but a group of 25 children from a nearby elementary school were already booked to sing it and, rather than make them reschedule, he chose to take the “other” song. He also performed at the Metro North Mall (click on the images to enlarge). Did anyone get a chance to personally attend any of these events? Would love to hear from you!
