此刻，WordCamp China 2008正在清华大学校园里进行，明天复旦大学分会场也将继续 WordCamp China 2008。WordPress CMS 创始人之一 Matt Mullenweg 将参加两天的会议并发表演讲，此外还有 Automattic 的人参加，以及国内一些优秀 Blogger 作为嘉宾参与演讲和分享。
WordPress 作为全球最受欢迎的开源 Blog CMS，无论是作为免费软件中心的WordPress.org，还是作为 BSP 的 WordPress.com，都已经取得极大成功。WordCamp China 是为中国的 WordPress 用户和开发人员设立的一个讨论平台，是一次面向所有 WordPress 爱好者，博客使用者，和开发人员的聚会。今年 WordCamp China 在上海开分会场，也表示中文 Blogger 的力量越来越强大和重要。
我更希望以后的 WordCamp China 可以考虑将分会场设置到其它城市，比如华南的广州或深圳。北京、上海无疑是中国互联网中心，这种现状是由各种各样的历史原因造成的；同时沿海的华南互联网应该有更多的 Blogger 声音被听到。
作为 Blogger，我渴望参加 WordCamp China 2009。
