What it does
If you are on the go and need a question answered, turn to Twitter Answers, a new web service introduced by Mosio. Users send text messages, via twitter, that include queries to be posted on the site. Mosio members then respond to these questions online. Examples of postulated questions include “What restaurant is an airplane hangar in Alameda California?” (Answer: Hangar One); or, “Where is the band One Republic from?” (Answer: Colorado Springs, Colorado). In essence, Twitter Answers is a mash-up of Twitter and Mosio (a people powered online search). You will get up to four answers for each question you ask.

Why it might be a killer
Twitter Answers is a great resource if you don’t have the capabilities to search online, but need an answer right away. Twitter Answers is like Google Mobile services, but better for more specific and random questions. The answers are relatively prompt and correct- exactly the type of response you would hope to get from a mobile Q&A service.
