Microsoft is really upping the ante for its competitors. After the stunning Microsoft Surface, researchers at the software super brand are working towards making Origami, the new handheld tablet PC currently underdevelopment by MS, more and more unique and user friendly. The latest cool feature that MS have added to this project is the unique motion-sensing technology which will enable users to use a simple gesture to twist the on-screen image. By using this technology, developed not only to get out of crafting the UMPCs out of flexible materiel, but they also ‘turn an otherwise passive component that just holds the device together into an active input surface.’ Origami is already tipped to become the hottest PDA/portable computer with its ability to compress all the essential functions of a normal PC into a touchscreen device the size of a Sony PSP. Watch the cool demo video of the amazing new Origami after the jump.
