There live different kinds of animals in the place where we are not able to see. Perhaps in your lash there is a staggering animal world.
Demodex folliculorum is a kind of super small worm. which is no longer than 0.4mm, parasiting in the hair-folicle and sebaceous gland of men and mammals, gradually in nose, forehead, cheek, chin or the root of the lash.
The body of demodex folliculorum is slim and is in a worm shape, it has just several uncompletely revolutioned legs. Those who are oily skin and those who are adorned with dense dots of pigment without deeply clean are easy to breed this kind of acarid in a large scale. However, most of the adults have some demodex-like acarids, more or less. When these acarids gather into a hair-follicle in a large scale, it is easy to get inflamation and infection.
The gnathosoma of this acarid looks like a echelon, lying at the front of the body. It also has a pair of chelicera in an aciform, and the pedipalp is divided into three parts. The body consist of opisthosoma and ligand, there exist four pairs of legs at the ventral side of the ligand, which are tubbiness and are in a gemmule-type. The aedeagus of male acarid lies the back of the ligand, just between the second pair of legs while the gonopore of female acarid lies between the fourth pair of legs at the ventral side.
