What it does
It was Salvador Dali who said that originality is simply about going back to the origin. Rememberthemeds.com is, from that point of view, a wonderfully original site. Register as a member with you email address, type in what medication you have to take and at which times, what time zone you live in, and each time you have to take any drug, you’ll receive an SMS reminding you of it. The service is completely free, unless your phone carrier charges you for received text messages.

Why it might be a killer
Rememberthemeds.com can easily become the next killer startup as everybody needs to take medication at some stage in life, and forgetting to do so is as common as having to take them. Plus, the fact that you get an SMS means that you don’t need to be in front of the computer to be reminded, so you’ll positively remember to take your pills wherever you are.
Some questions
There is nothing in the site other than the login page, which means that you don’t get much explanation or support (not that it is vitally needed, anyways), which is something that probably elder patients that are not too familiarized with the internet would be comfortable to have. Will they reconsider presenting some more information?
