The pilot episodes of HBO’s True Blood and Fox’s Fringe have both popped up on the Torrents for download. Leaked pilots are hardly uncommon but there’s talk that the Fringe pilot is a little too sharp to be a rip off. Rumor is that Fox themselves may have “leaked” the copy in order to raise the buzz for the show.
Though Fox won’t comment, it does seem like a smart way to raise the show’s viability. They could have just put the pilot on their own website, but what would be the fun in that? Let’s face it, there’s nothing folks like more than doing something they’re not supposed to be doing.
