This is something interesting. Intelligent guys at University of Washington are developing virtual display on contact lenses. The electrical circuits are embedded in the lens which creates a display within the eyeball. If the project is successful, a user will be able to see the incoming call number without looking at his phone or a pilot can assess the airplane’s condition. These are some of its proposed uses but I am sure as soon as it gets commercial, marketers will find their way to cash in from this device.
The device is still in prototype stages but according to researchers it is safe to wear as it won’t block a person’s normal vision.
