Daniel Day Lewis and Marion Cotillard win LA Film Critics awards

The LA Film Critic's Choice Awards were held this weekend, despite award shows being fairly unpopular due to the ongoing writer's strike. Daniel Day-Lewis won best actor for his turn in "There Will Be Blood". I caught that flick, and he acts THE MESS out of that film. I don't know if it's the epic everyone wants it to be, but he's amazing as crazy, greedy, people-hating, intense oil baron guy. Yeah, Roger Ebert I ain't. Marion Cotillard won for "La Vie En Rose", which I haven't seen yet but everyone's pretty moist over it. The boyfriend did, and he bought the soundtrack and now my apartment is filled with Edith Piaf or Dominique the Singing Nun or whoever she plays. Does anyone have a sleep sofa I can hang out on until he tires of it?
