Two new names are about to create a milestone in the history of modern day Architecture. Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas are the two young architects from China whose innovative design has been approved for the new terminal 3 at the Shenzen Bao-an Airport in Shenzen, China. Their signature design appropriates a novel edge with the introduction of glass roofing linking up the new wing with the other terminals. This ensures sunlight entry directly into the forecourt. Some of the other features include double-skinned portico made of patterned geometric glass slabs in the outer surface and fine net covering in the inside. Thanks to Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, once ready this brand new terminal will be a crowning effect to the Shenzen Airport making it China’s fourth largest airport. Bliss one should say!!
