-- San Mateo, Calif.-based Frengo said today that its Flirtable application that links together the top social networks is now available for mobile phones. The application is compatible with Facebook, MySpace, hi5, Orkut and Bebo. FLIRTABLE can interact with other users distributed across those networks. For example, a MySpace user can interact with other MySpace users as well as users of Facebook, hi5 and Bebo. Through Flirtable Mobile all of the features are now available from any Web-enabled mobile phone. Frengo also has developed another application called MyLOLz, through a collaboration with I Can Has Cheezburger?. It's available on the various social networks as well as on the phone, which allows users to easily upload pictures and and captions.

-- This summer Coldplay is releasing the album "Viva la Vida," and as part of its release, fans can download a specially edited version of "Violet Hill" as a ringtone through a partnership between EMI and Thumbplay until June 6. Coldplay has been fairly aggressive in mobile by first a song first as a ringtone before it became available for the radio on Cingular Wireless. The exclusive ringtone can be found here.

-- To encourage people to make movies on their mobile phones, and spread the word about media-sharing site Share on Ovi, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is sponsoring the 2008 Nokia Mobile Filmmaking Awards for a Pangea Day. Five finalists were announced today. Pangea Day was created by documentary filmmaker Jehane Noujaim to connect people by through film. The five finalists are: Pier Bardoni for Cloud Running; Eduardo Cachucho for Game; Rupert Howe for Amazing Rainbows; Bob Calabritto for Smile; and Kayoom Mistry for Rounds All Around. Contestants uploaded their two-minute entries to Share on Ovi. The finalists will be flown to Los Angeles, where they will be judged, and the winner will receive a trip to the Rwandan Gorilla Reserve and a production budget to record their trip.

-- Today, Icebreaker's Crush or Flush service is live on T-Mobile USA's deck, rolling out to 28.7 million subscribers. The T-Zones portal is featuring Crush or Flush in its WAP directory as a social networking and chat site.The service, which has about 1 million users mostly between the ages of 18 and 30, is already promoted on the decks of AT&T (NYSE: T), Alltel (NYSE: AT), Boost, Cricket, SunCom and Virgin.
