Gareth Pugh may be solely responsible for the revival of the goth in London. His ever-theatrical ways keep fashion editors (not to mention buyers) on their toes, and at London fashion week it was no different. Showing a robotic styled show, models came out in bizarre gray makeup and dark blue or burgundy lipstick, the look was fierce and stark, perfect for London’s dreary weather. While the styling on the runway was a fantasy, the severe dimension in Pugh’s F/W 08 collection is ideal for those who like to paint it black, but keep it interesting.
