Utterz, which launched last year as a useful microblogging tool with an extensive mobile offering, has been layering in more and more automated features for integrated blogging across multiple platforms in recent months, including audio and video direct uploads for podcasting earlier this year. Today, Utterz is offering mobile posting for YouTube, Yahoo Groups, LiveSpaces, and a handful of other social media websites, like Drupal and Twixtr.
In a manner similar to Utterz direct upload for podcasting, these new mobile posting tools give you even more self-broadcasting options, adding the ability to send content directly to the services you’re likely to place your content anyway. Combine this with Utterz’s existing post options to WordPress, Blogger, LiveJournal, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr and its own self-distributing widgets, the addition of YouTube and LiveSpaces really helps to round out the all-encompassing approach Utterz is going for in its effort to make its own service the single, central conduit between your mobile device and your web presence.
With Utterz’s existing Facebook application, it’s clear that the company is also looking to have a high level of integration with as many social media outlets as possible, for as many purposes as possible.
