Chevy’s teaming up with Disney and the Jonas Brothers in their Chevy Rocks the Future program to get tweens and teens involved in going green.

Part of the program is Chevy’s “Promise to Live Better!” educational campaign. This is an environmental awareness initiative to inspire kids to promise to make daily changes to help the environment. You can see on their site that 38% promise to recycle, 22% vowed to turn off the water while brushing their teeth, and 34% promise to turn off the light when they leave a room.

Teens also had an opportunity to attend the big musical event on February 19th where tons of Disney stars were on hand to support the green cause. Guests included the kids from Desperate Housewives, Hannah Montana, According to Jim, Bratz and That’s So Raven.

When the celebrity kids were asked, “What are some things you do to live green?” they said:

  • Recyle cans, bottles, clothes and scripts.
  • Never litter.
  • Plant trees and flowers.
  • And turn off lights.

When asked, “What are some things you would want to fuel cars with in the future?” the stars got a little silly saying things like:

  • Ranch dressing,
  • tobasco sauce,
  • chocolate,
  • ice cream
  • peanut butter,
  • bubbles,
  • And love.

Are your kids living a green lifestyle?
