Malaysian Prime Minister: Pak Lah…. Najib…. Ku Li…. does it matter? [The Kuala Lumpur Traveler]

Translate Into:

Ku LiUmno veteran former vice president Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah today said that he wanted to challenge Umno president Abdullah Ahmad Badawi for the presidency in the coming party polls.

The MP for Gua Musang offered himself to lead Umno to “heal the party” which was in “a bad way”.

“I still have ideas, I am still brave because I am independent and I don’t depend on anyone. If my service is still needed and my strength can still be used, I am offering myself to work for the rakyat,” he told a press conference in Kota Baru today.

Personally, I want Pak Lah to stay as the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Why? This comment in one of my blog entries explains best :

i hope badawi , khairy and their minions still stay on. i hope badawi will raise oil prices, and continue spending billions in building corridors and parks and continue getting siti nurhaliza and others to be ambassador. i hope badawi still thinks malaysian will be happy with shopping malls and many monopolized industries.

So then only BN can be voted out in next election 2013

You see my point? As long as BN leads the country, it does not really matter who the PM is… the guy will always have personal agendas higher than people’s agenda. Otherwise, how else can you explain Pak Lah’s and Najib’s crony capitalism that made KJ one of the richest young dude and hundreds of millions of dollars changed hand in arms deals handled under Najib?

Ku Li will not be much different…. as long as he served under UMNO and BN, there will always be hungry sharks haunting him from behind with mouths wide open to swallow what ever comes in terms of mammoth projects that would cost the nation (that would be partly my money and yours too…) anywhere between 1 time to 10 times more than it should have been in the first place.

The repressive laws such ISA, AUKU, OSA, Printing Press Act and what not will still be there to cover their wrongdoings. Communal and race-based politics will always be BN’s ttrademark…. just to name a few.

So you guys at the BN camp…. do whatever you want and choose whoever among you as the PM…. come the 13th general election, the people power will once and for all send BN to oblivion and irrelevancy.

While we know for sure BN will screw up big time again and again, Hj Hadi, Anwar and Kit Siang better make it damn sure that the PAS-PKR-DAP coalition don’t screw up even small time. People are watching you!!
