packing wine to take homeSince I can’t ship it, I have to lug it onto the plane.  That’s fine, as I’m just excited to bring wine home to share with family and friends.  And I think I’ve brought a nice array to represent my California wine adventures:

My past–2002 Thomas Fogarty Napa Cab (yum, yum)
My present–2005 Rosenblum Mourvedre, 2005 Rosenblum Hendry Reserve Zinfandel
Friendly neighbors–Dashe Cellars Dry Riesling
Funky finds–Twisted Oak Petite Sirah
So good but you can hardly find it–Navarro Pinot Noir
These are my friends!–Bonfire Vineyards Fuel
Gotta have bubbly–Domaine Chandon sparkling red and Domaine Carneros late disgorged
I still have a thing for Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay–Domenico
So my brother can drink as much as he wants and because someone left it at my apartment and because it represents what is best and worst about the wine business (ok, that last one was overly dramatic)–Two-Buck Chuck, which has yet to pass my lips…. but we’ll see.
