I only know these guys from Blurry, and She Hates Me, both singles which did very well over here in the UK in 2002. But then since? I’ve heard absolutely nothing from them, until now.

The song starts off slightly subdued, and a bit weird with the lead singer Wes Scantlin’s whiny voice giving it a kind of ethereal quality. But once the chorus kicks in, everything is good again, and the song comes out of its shell.

The video is brilliant, showing spoofs of a number of classic horror movies, from Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist, and of course the titular Psycho.

As an homage it does a good job, with humour as well as some well staged scenes. Puddle of Mudd seem to be back, and on form.

Song: 8/10
Video: 9/10
