Gateway 推出了有17寸液晶显示器的P-170 FX 系列笔记本电脑，包括P-170 FX1, P-170 FX2 and P-170 FX MAX三个型号。
Gateway P-170 FX1 采用Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 处理器，3GB内存，250GB硬盘以及GeForce 8800M GTS 显卡，内置DVD Super Multi 刻录机，五合一读卡器。
而Gateway P-170 FX MAX采用Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 处理器，400GB硬盘，17英寸液晶显示器，分辨率为1920×1200，可选HD DVD驱动。 P-170 FX2 的参数位居以上两个型号之间。
P-170 FX1售价为$1600，P-170 FX2售价为$2000，P-170 FX MAX售价为$3000。
