What it does

Do you hate the feeling of buying a new car and having no idea whether or not you are receiving the best price or not? The fact of the matter is that people who are good at bartering always seem to get a better price than those who aren’t and the sticker price on a new car is not necessarily what you will pay to drive out of the dealership with it. Opencarprice is a new site that hopes to change the way cars are purchased by removing all haggling from the equation. The site encourages users to submit the prices that they have paid for specific models and thereby allows others to check what price a given car has sold for recently. Knowing what others are paying allows you to walk into the dealership with a huge advantage that could save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Some questions

Could they add some more filtering options to the search to allow you to search by location as well? The price of a car sold in Alaska is probably not the same as the price for one sold in Flint Michigan.

Opencarprice can make that horrible feeling of finding out you’ve been ripped off a thing of the past. Those that don’t like to haggle will love actually knowing what others have paid for the same car.
