N20 Comedy Festival Kicks Off At BAC, Studio 68

The Book Club is dead! Long live The School for Gifted Children! Robin Ince's Book Club, for the unacquainted, was a delightfully ramshackle evening of intellectual mirth and experimentation, which was given a grand farewell in December at the British Museum.

Tonight The School for Gifted Children kickstarts the glorious sounding N20 Comedy Festival for show, stories, songs and outright lies in the dinky Studio 68 at Battersea Arts Centre. Robin Ince is in charge of the naughty step trying to keep a handle on the most excellent Josie Long, Graham Fellows (aka John Shuttleworth) and Andrew Collins amongst others, talking about things that interest them from serial killers to the joys of the video shop ex-rental bin.

The Festival runs till 12 February with a stonking line up and ends with the frolicksome, mischievous, exuberant, friendly, original, feel-good Pappy's Fun Club, which you must not miss.

Book tickets straight away and hope they're not all sold out. Robin Ince's School for Gifted Children is tonight at 8.30pm at Studio 68 round the side of Battersea Arts Centre. Don't wander into Masque of the Red Death instead.
