Since I am a relatively new fan of Battlestar Galactica, I am not going to assume that I am any bigger a fan of BSG than any one of you. What I will say though, is that I have gone from completely ignorant of the greatness that is BSG to die hard fan in just under two weeks time. That said, you may see it pop up more and more on the pages of FSR in the weeks to come as the final season rolls on.
We will start with something that definitely fits into the Officially Cool category — a life-size Cylon Centurion from Sideshow Collectibles.
This badass $7,900 collectible (which I will own some day, believe it) stands 7-feet tall and features both the haunting visor lights of the robotic soldier synchronized with the menacing, eerie hum of the Cylon Centurion.
Needless to say, I want one. In the time that I have spent watching Battlestar Galactica, I have realized that the Centurion is by far the most interesting and fun part of the show. Sure, I have a huge crush on Grace Park and Tricia Helfer is as hot as they come, but the Centurion is just as sexy. As well, I don’t think that there has ever been a more badass robot in Sci-fi… Since Gort in The Day The Earth Stood Still, at least.
