kurosaki ichigo, aparted from an ability that could see the ghost, was a common high school student. After his chance encounter with a girl, his fate was changed. Kuchiki Rukia, who claimed to be Death, poped up in front of kurosaki ichigo, in order to chase the Abriman named Xu. She attacked Xu without mercy, who aimed at eat off kurosaki ichigo for his high supernatural power.

kurosaki Ichigo，the protagonist of the story, was a 15-year-old boy with orange hair, brown eyes. His occupation was student and his strong-point was could see the ghost.
The story was begun with their first meet……
Xu which was chased by Rukia attacked Ichigo’s family. (Incidentally, his family could see the ghost except a hard-line sister). Rukia was hurted badly. In order to protest his beloved family, Ichigo inserted the zangetsu sward into his chest, so as to get Rukia’ power. Eventually, he annihilated Xu successfully.
Rukia’s power was seized by Ichigo, so she just could only provisionally stay on the world with a real body. She also asked Ichigo to act as a substitutive death during this period. Ichigo surely rejected for fear of trouble.
Xu appeared once again. Rukia pushed Ichigo’s soul aparted from his body with force. What was more, she asked Ichigo did't to save a child who was in threat of Xu.
Rukia said : Even if you save this child now, it is all the same if you do not have the consciousness that you are Death! You save him just because he is attacted in front of you. Don’t be so puerility. Death must treats all the souls the same. You just looking after your convinence that you save him for it was in you sight and on the reach of yours. Never save him with an optional mood! If you want to save him… your must have the preparedness to save any other souls! Wherever, you all have to go, even you may sacrifice will not grudge.
Ichigo said: Consciousness, consciousness, I do not care about it. I save him just because I want to…… At that time, you came out boldly to save me, did't you?…… Since it is to come out boldiy, why we should care about so much! Those words and the crisis situation finally made Ichigo a conscious to be Death.
