 SpotNick compartió con nosotros unos enlaces sobre Hektor, un curioso dispositivo de pintura con spray portátil, que bien podría denominarse como una nueva especie de «robot graffittero». Fue creado en 2002 por Jürg Lehni and Uli Franke y desde entonces anda dando vueltas por exposiciones.  El chisme consta de dos motores y unas cuerdas de las que se cuelga, con lo que se mueve todo mecanismo. También lleva un soporte para latas de spray convencionales. Un ordenador controla sus toscos movimientos mientras va soltando el spray, puede dibujar tanto líneas como figuras o letras. Debido a los manchones, borrones y «saltos» del mecanismo, en la proria descripción los autores califican los resultados como de baja tecnología aunque en cualquier caso son muy llamativos.
