You would never believe what this video is really all about.
No, it’s not the new movie “The Business of Being Born” by Ricki Lake. But it is all about the business of being born… or what this means to a Filipino. It takes place in a “delivery room”.
The movie is in Tagalog/Filipino, so I’ll translate what the two audible voices are saying.
When the noise dies down, the mother asks “Doc, why isn’t my baby crying?” And you see the infant being carried away.
The dad leans over to his newborn baby, “even now, you are one of the many Filipinos who have to pay our national debt to the World Bank, that equals PhP 3.924 trillion pesos.”
And the newborn screams his lungs out.
