Jodhaa Akbar, the long awaited movie starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan, has received favorable reviews, with many calling it “the greatest love epic” ever. See photos and video below.

The film is a little bit on the long side - almost three and a half hours, but according to moviegoers, it’s time well spent. The love story set in the sixteenth century begins with the arranged marriage of alliance between Akbar and the beautiful Jodhaa, both from two different worlds of culture and religion. The film comes alive on the silver screen with epic battles, sword fights, and romance. Of course, with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai and the hunky Hrithik Roshan as Jodhaa and Akbar respectively, how could you go wrong?
The film has also been met with some protest from the Kshatriya community, with an incident occurring at 12:00 PM Saturday at teh Velocity multiplex, where people demanded the halting of the Jodhaa Akbar movie. They felt that the flm was inaccurate historically. Eight people were arrested by city police.
