After an hour, Arsenal appeared to be headed for the worst sporting collapse since ... well, last year's New York Mets, really.

First, Matthew Taylor gave relegation-threatened Bolton an early lead against the Gunners at Reebok Stadium. Then Abou Diaby was sent off after a blatant studs-up tackle on Gretar Rafn Steinsson. (Clearly, Diaby learned nothing from Matthew Taylor's tackle on Eduardo da Silva. It looked that bad.) Then Taylor scored again two minutes before halftime. Doom seemed inevitable.

Then something completely unexpected happened. Arsenal found its heart -- the heart it's missed since getting a good look at Eduardo's bone marrow.

That heart had two names: Emmanuel Adebayor and Theo Walcott, who came on for Phillipe Senderos and Nicklas Bendtner with 30 minutes left and completely changed the game. Suddenly, 10-man Arsenal's attack had teeth, and less than 10 minutes later, it was tied. Then Cesc Fabregas bounced one off Jlloyd Samuel's leg in stoppage time, and before you knew it, once-doomed Arsenal had a 3-2 win were back in the Premier League title chase.
