《A year in Tibet》is a series of documentary films made by BBC. There are five episodes in all, each lasting for fifty minutes. The first episode was broadcasted on Mar.6th and you can watch the program every week. This series of documentary films recorded the real local life and all the things happened in the past year in the Gyantse, the 4th largest city of Tibet. Controversy arose for that it did not tell the stories that the audience would like to listen, instead, it recorded various conflicts happened in the real life. The BBC maker adopted a neutral attitude to make the film which irritated a lot of audience. On the other hand, it proved the authenticity of the documentary films.
