When it comes to modern design, you never know when a concept crosses the thin line between art and trash. And this Trio table is walking a tightrope on top of the dodgy distinction. The table uses what can be best described as ‘interconnected balls of dried grass’ as legs with a standard glass top. One wonders what would happen if one of these ball were to deflate with the weight of a wine glass on top of it. Even with all its flaws and my personal dislike for materials which can scratch the skin, I suppose this side table made of liane, rattan and glass would fit it nicely with your ethnic, rural, Malaysian and Texan décor!
