It’s a crazy week, so instead of sharing some of my recipes, I’m going to share some of my favorite recipe links. Now, here’s the deal. I don’t always find organic body care recipe links. Do I make the item organic - why yes, and you can too. Almost any homemade beauty care recipe can be converted to organic easily. Also, if an item in a recipe doesn’t suit me, I’ll change it up.
Don’t forget to read Homemade Beauty Products – Safety 101 before you get started.
My fave links:
Channel your inner princess with homemade body glitter: I don’t do makeup, but I admit it; I am sort of into my sparkles from time to time. This would also make a wonderful gift for a child.
Homemade beeswax lip balm: Too many ads at this site, but a good recipe.
End of summer body scrub
A cool collection of lotion bars - I’ve altered many of them, but they give a great jumping off point, and some I like just how they are. These are nice because they’re non-messy.
Nice starter cleansing cream recipe: Alter with fruits, milks, or oils if you like.
Plus one random recipe I’ve never tried: Homemade Deodorant Recipe
