How to Survive the Holiday Shopping

Translate Into:

The biggest thing I found out with my holiday shopping is to plan ahead. Knowing which stores you will visit and what you are looking for will help a great deal. Even knowing their hours of operations helps out too because you can plan your day. I would recommend that you arrive at the store you want to go to right away in the morning because there is not a lot of people out yet.

I like to shop in the morning because unless it is Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving), there is not a lot of people out and about yet. The staff is more friendly where as if you go shopping in the evening they are all ready to go home and do not want to help you as much. Also shop during the weekdays, most people are at work and less are out and about.

Shop with a small army. You can fit at least four to a car, why waste gas? One can go into one store and purchase all the things needed there, and so forth. This will save a lot of time and frustration. This works especially well when you are in a shopping mall, but it works at big box stores like Target and Walmart. If you are shopping at these stores, plan ahead and meet at the checkouts to save lots of time.

And, the best way to save time and hassle when doing your holiday shopping this season is to purchase gift cards for your loved ones. This way, they can go back in January when nobody is shopping and they can pick out whatever they want to buy. Some people think these are impersonal, but they sure can be a great time saver!
