Thanks to the daring and willingness of couples like Nan and Todd Tilton who were willing to “gamble” on “new technology” 25 years ago, they have a beautiful son and daughter who turn 25 today and thousands of those of us still trying to conceive have more options, more hope for having families of our own.
When they were born 25 years ago Monday, Heather and Todd Tilton stood out for being America’s first test-tube twins.
But growing up, what made them feel unique was knowing the lengths their parents went to have them.
“I always felt that I was very wanted because it was such a big decision and very difficult,” Heather Tilton said. “It shows my parents’ determination.”
