Crystals now make it to sound systems, loudspeakers to be precise. And if you are guessing these speakers are Swarowski items, time to do a rethink. If you kinda missed them at the CES ‘08, the Arabesque Crystal Loudspeakers are a product from Crystal Cables, and like most crystal based products, look stunning to say the least. These loudspeakers are completely made of hand blown Czech Republic crystals and each loudspeaker has a set of three speakers stacked vertically. Looking from above, these loudspeakers appear to sit on a teardrop shaped design and have walls that are made of half inch thick glass. Maybe they even can resist bullets, but don’t even dare to try that on these very expensive-looking speakers. The Arabesque Crystal Loudspeakers will definitely sell at a premium, a new set of (1 meter pair) interconnects retail for $7,150, considering that they are hand-made and lest we forget, crystals after all.
