The world we live in is a hectic and chaotic place, often seemingly random and without order, and for many of us, the only way to have some semblance of control over our lives is to schedule and plan our days away. We plan for the future, we save our pennies for a rainy day; we become workaholics in preparation for days to come. We set goals and create for ourselves strict regimes, which we adamantly abide by. While this can all be integral to achieving our most desired dreams, it’s important to take the time to step back and smell the roses.
Seize the moment and live life in the now before it slowly slips away form you. That the importance in life can be found in the small; pleasures, the shared, precious moments between people and the lessons which can be learned from such experiences. Life is a series of moments, each an opportunity for true happiness, and every moment that we don’t take advantage of, living life to its fullest, is a moment wasted.
