Toronto is the biggest city in Canada, and it is the center of the Canadian television and broadcasting (English programmes) . Standing at the bank of the Ontario, the 533.34-meter Toronto Television Mast is identified as the symbol of Toronto and is very striking.
Canada's National Tower is said to be a miracle in world architecture history. It is now the highest sole television mast in the world(not including those mast that built on the high buildings.). The mast is built by the Canadian Railway Company which majors in railway management, road transportation, hotels and telecom. It broke earth on February 6th 1973 and fiinish and open to public at June 26th 1976. All the project cost 440 million dollars. The mast was named after the abbreviation of the Canadian National Railway Company, so it was called CN Mast.It is due to the new and unique design that as soon as it was finished it became famous all over the world.
2.the Ostangino Tower

It is built in 1967 and is the second highest sole tower in the world. It weighs over 55,000 tons. The Ostangino Tower is 1771 inches(540 meters), as a city which is not famous for skyscaper, the tower is no doubt a miracle. It only takes 58 seconds for guests to reach the overlook place. 3. the Oriental Pearl Tower

The Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower is 468 meters above the ground. It is the highest tower in Asia and the third highest in the World. It is only after the CN Tower and the Ostangino Tower. It locates at the end of Lujiazui, the bank of the Huangpu River. It echos the famous band at a distance. In view of the geographic location and historic status, the genius designer planned 11 sphericitical architecture, either small or big. The Tianjing television tower---abbr.'sky tower', is located in the southwest of Tianjing. there is a 210,000 square meters' lake aroud the tower. 'the sky tower' is famous for its on the river. It is 415-meter high. Between 248-meter and 278-meter is a 7-floor ufo-like building. the total area of the ufo-like structure is 4500 square meters. Besides the boadcasting room and electric power room(260m-378m), there are still 3 floors that cover the area of 1300 square meters. The first floor is the "Xian Ke Lai" restaurant(248 meter), the restaurant serves Chinese dishes, banquet service and karaoke room. It can hold 100 people at a time.

It is 405-meter high with its top covering an area of 5905 square meters and bottom covering 12143 squrare meters. The tower can send out the signal of 7 channels of Fm stereo radio and 8 channels of television progammes at the same time. Thanks to its advanced facilities, it extremely expands the area which radio covers, advances the quality of receiving.
