Going on vacation can be more work than work [Career and Kids]

I’m fortunate enough to get to depart for a few days vacation with my friends, this morning.

I know how lucky I am to get to do this, don’t get me wrong.

However, the time, effort and expense involved getting my career settled for my absence, and, the kids settled for my absence is starting to make me wonder if it would be more relaxing to not go on vacation.

I’m sure once I actually get there it’ll be worth it, but, as of right now, the jury is still out on that one.
