The first stop on our tour is Gilly Flowers. Whenever we see someone walking down the street holding a beautiful bunch of flowers, it’s clear they’ve just come from Gilly’s.
“Gilly” as he is now referred to by customers and friends (we know his real name but if we told you we’d have to kill you) actually named his shop after the flower of the same name which also means “bonds of affection”.
Gilly started his flower business 12 years ago in the parking lot of Spaceland, a well known L.A hot spot for bands. His incredible arrangements became more and more popular so he took up permanent residence in the Sunset Junction 5 years ago.
We’re not sure what we enjoy more, the arrangements themselves or watching him put them together. Gilly can whip up an absolute masterpiece right before your eyes. You’ll never be disappointed!
