| Rayna was sent home from the Flavor of Love house, but that doesn’t mean that she’s finished having her say about things. Here’s an excerpt from an interview she did with VH1: |
Were you surprised you were eliminated as early as you were?
I wasn’t. Earlier that day, I found out that my grandpa passed. It would have been the twist anyway. I had to leave, and mentally I felt like my innermost person might have snapped and I’d have to go to jail. So I had to go.
It seemed like the major problem that Flav had was Shy’s admission to Flav that you wanted to be in the Top 10. What did you mean by that, anyway?
My whole thing was that if you can make it in the house, you did good. And if you can make it to the Top 10, that gets you closer to getting a date with Flav. If you can do 10, you can do 9. If you can do 9, you can do Top 5. If I was in the Top 5, I was going to stay and go home with the prize. Now, the way Shy spun it was that I wanted to be in the Top 10, and after that, I couldn’t care less. No. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that if I was in the Top 10, I’d make it to Top 5.
Flav then brought you in, and we saw you crying.
There was so much going on. Like I said, my grandpa passed and the fact that Bunz and I connected after Sheryl Lee Ralph had come into the house to talk to us. Bunz was telling me about her dad that passed away. And then Sinceer said something about that while they were out on the ice-skating date. Why would you say that to somebody? What would possess a human being to slap someone in the face with their dead relative? I thought that was really rude. At that point, if I hadn’t gotten eliminated, I would have left.
