I’m a bad blogger. It’s nearly a week after episode 11 of America’s Top Model aired, and I’m only now getting around to covering it. Blame family obligations…we all know how fun those are. We’re down to only four models, after on last Wednesday night’s episode Katarzyna was eliminated. The judges said they didn’t know her personality well enough, and that while her pictures were good, her progress was pretty stagnant throughout the competition. Unfortunately, I would have to agree. Kat was gorgeous, but she didn’t have that knockout personality that a supermodel needs.

The girls were shown how to move their bodies with strength and grace, with the help of a stunt trainer. He showed them how to utilize their bodies and show character through their long limbs. Some girls were great at it (Whitney and Anya) while others were horrible (Dominique). I thought Kat did well in the challenge, as well as the photoshoot (where Tyra played photog), so I was surprised when she was in the bottom two.The other half of the bottom two? Whitney.
This one came as a shock for me. While some of the other girls really connected with Tyra during their shoots, Whitney did not. She was too concerned with being sexy (how can you not be when you look like that?), and didn’t know what to do with her body. Usually she’s really good at only capturing what the photo needs, but not this time around. She was awkward as heck, and this was apparent to everyone on the set, including Whitney herself. And especially Tyra.
We’re down to Whitney, Anya, Dominique and Fatima.I’m ready to get Fatima out of there (it’s time like these I wish Top Model worked on a viewer votes basis a la American Idol), but who do you think will be the next to go?
