剧情简介：
艾许是一位自小生长在美国的年轻人，某日，他在渡假的小木屋里，无意发现一本名为「死亡之书」的古书，翻书的一刹那，天崩地裂、鬼哭神号，而这场巨变，竟将艾许带往西元1300年的西方世界……。这一次，他必须帮助国王找到「死亡之书」，只有这样他才能回到20世纪。但Ash无意中念错一句咒语，释放了来自地狱的黑暗军团，一场大战不可避免的展开了。

   本片是"鬼玩人"系列三部曲的第三部，是美国导演山姆雷米的低成本电影，他绝未料想这三片小成本作品，竟让他受到青少年广泛的喜爱，甚至因续集"Evil Dead 2（鬼玩人）"红遍欧洲及东南亚，并被影评视为80年代恐怖片的最经典！而后来被评选为20世纪十大最恐怖电影之一的"鬼玩人"，看过的人却绝对忘不了剧中男主角艾许（Ash）一手带着炼锯，另一手持霰弹枪，杀入群魔乱舞的敌阵中万鬼莫敌的勇猛模样。更让当时许多人在看完后，从此不敢单独在半夜走进森林里……
