I am a real avid fan of Science Fiction TV Series, just like alot of people like Star Trek (which includes Star Trek Generations, Star Trek : Enterprise, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Deep Space Nine) along side with the endless number of movies that hit the box office silver screens to chart everything.

One of the things which reminds me of a long lost series called SeaQuest DSV. Instead of exploring space, it explored the possibilities of life under water in about a century or so, because of Global Warming that the earth is majority sunk into colonies in water. And living in a boat called SeaQuest which looked like an inverted squid or a whale makes maneuver in water so slick. I was a great fan that I even bought original badges of it back in those days. I don’t recall where it is now, but it should be somewhere with my tattered ripped denim jacket which saw me getting stabbed a few times to sort a couple of cat fights off in the under grad days.

I did some reading up, and seems that Johnathan Bradis which played the kid genius died, and for a youngster being outlived by the Captain Johnathan Bridger is somewhat sad. It is ..and that there is no more Seaquest DSV and the fact there is only 44 episodes makes me want more. What makes me furious is that it’s NOT AVAILABLE ON iTUNES! So as the Seasons 2-4 of Star Trek Enterprise where Scot Bakula is Captain Johnathan Archer and you may remember him from Quantum Leap (I loved that SOOO MUCH!) or M*A*S*H or any of the classics actually.

So OK, I’m so RETRO but then… these memories you remind yourself by and live by them, painful or not, with the people and places you love. These makes you at times pull things by, as sometimes life throw things at you that you know you can’t handle. Love is one of them and placing Sci-Fi is one thing that one can put them aside..and forget the wife’s ever nagging.

What memories do you have?
