It’s very rare that you hear a band cover another classic bands song and do such an incredible job that you just can not believe your ears. Sure there are a lot of catchy cover songs out there and more often than not bands try to cover fairly easy and radio friendly songs that they know will get air play and will surely set them on their way to instant stardom. We’ve seen it a million times. What’s better is when an established band that obviously doesn’t need the help of a cover song takes it and sings and plays it as their own. Pearl Jam’s cover of The Who’s ‘Love, Reign O’er Me’ for the same titled movie about a man (Played by Adam Sandler) who loses his family in one of the 9/11 planes, is an amazing cover.
