Before you know it 2008 is here. What about some lessons learned, are you going to be doing anything different or did 2007 go well for you. For me 2008 has to be a change to work smarter, cut out things that are not working or are just eating up time and be more streamlined.
Why does everything have to be a blog
Whilst Wordpress is good at what it does it doesn't do what I want to easily. I have one site running on WordPress and when I figure it out it is going to be converted my custom management system. Obviously this is not the option for everyone but you may want to consider whether or not your next site really needs to be a blog.
Diversify your income
One lesson to take away from 2007 is not to depend on Google or any one source of income. With the recent changes at Google and their recent announcement about dropping international Adsense referrals I am sure no one wants to get caught out again.
Look at many sources of income and don't be afraid to test. Another good lesson is that one method of monetisation may not work on one of your sites but may be great on another.
